These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites operated by Defense Warroom (“Defense Warroom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including defensewarroom.com and the other properties in the Warroom Media Network (collectively, the “Sites”). By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.

2. Eligibility and acceptance
By using the Sites you confirm that you are able to enter into a binding agreement and that you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you use the Sites on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Use of the Sites
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Sites for your own personal or internal professional purposes, subject to these Terms. You agree not to:
- use the Sites in any way that breaches applicable law or these Terms;
- copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, harvest, or systematically extract our content except as expressly permitted (see Section 4);
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Sites, their servers, or connected systems;
- introduce malware, or use automated means to access the Sites in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load;
- use the Sites to transmit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful material;

4. Intellectual property
All content on the Sites — including articles, text, analysis, graphics, logos, and the design and arrangement of the Sites — is owned by or licensed to Defense Warroom and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. “Defense Warroom,” the Warroom Media Network property names, and our logos are our trademarks and may not be used without our prior written permission.
You may share links to our articles and quote brief, attributed excerpts for the purposes of reporting, commentary, and review as permitted by applicable law. Any other reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of our content requires our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
5. Editorial content — nature and disclaimer
The Sites publish journalism, commentary, and analysis about the defense sector, based on open, publicly available sources. Our content is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not professional, legal, financial, procurement, investment, security, or export-control advice, and it should not be relied upon as such. It does not constitute, and is not, official information of any government, armed force, agency, or manufacturer.
While we work to ensure our reporting is accurate and to correct errors promptly (see our Editorial Standards), we make no warranty that the content is complete, current, or error-free. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before acting on it. Reliance on any content is at your own risk.
6. Advertising and sponsored content
The Sites contain advertising and may contain sponsored content, which we label as “Sponsored” or “Advertisement.” We are not responsible for the products, services, or claims of advertisers or sponsors, and the presence of advertising does not imply our endorsement. Any dealings you have with advertisers are solely between you and them.

If you send us tips, feedback, suggestions, or other materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use them in connection with our journalism and operations, and you confirm that you have the right to share them and that they do not infringe the rights of others or disclose unlawfully held or classified information. We are under no obligation to keep submissions confidential except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.
9. Availability of the Sites
We aim to keep the Sites available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Sites at any time without notice, and we are not liable for any resulting unavailability.
10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Defense Warroom and its officers, employees, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Sites or their content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your mandatory statutory rights.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Defense Warroom and its officers, employees, and contributors from any claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Sites, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date and takes effect when posted. Your continued use of the Sites after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Sites will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belgium, except where mandatory law grants a consumer the right to bring proceedings before, or to be sued only in, the courts of their place of residence. Consumers in the EU may also access the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Sites.
